The property is situated just 21.2 km from the airport, 500 metres from the nearest bar and restaurant and 3 km from the village with all amenities.
Sardinia is a popular destination for Italians. It also attracts visitors from all over the world. Situated on the north east of the island, the Costa Smeralda boasts some of the finest beaches in Europe and is recognised as being a favourite home or holiday destination of numerous celebrities, royalty and the rich and famous.
Inevitably, this has had its effect on property prices on and around the Costa Smeralda region. An analysis by a leading European estate agency has concluded that property prices are amongst the highest in Europe. The villa is an easy 20 minutes drive from the Costa Smeralda airport at Olbia and the Olbia ferry port. The double bedded room has patio doors leading out to the terrace. The ground floor is completed by a spacious utility room, with built-in washing machine and units. There is also a store room adjacent to the utility room which houses the owner’s personal items plus linen, towels etc.
Particular features of the five bathrooms and shower rooms are the Jacuzzi bath/steam room in the main bathroom, shower cabins with monsoon, hydro massage and foot massage in all other bathrooms. Other features include WiFi with Vpn and fans in all rooms. Safety features include an alarm system which can be upgraded to include WiFi monitoring from your own home. There are also hard wired smoke alarms and gas carbon monoxide monitors. The villa has the benefit of air conditioning units and central heating. All plumbing is in copper, not plastic. All external and internal walls are insulated.
The private garden/patio includes the swimming pool, being 10m x 5m x 1.5m. For al-fresco dining, there is a veranda with seating and patio area. The adjacent barbecue is situated under some trees to provide shelter from the sun. Outside lighting enhances the evening atmosphere. There is also parking space for several vehicles at the villa.
THE SURROUNDING AREA & FACILITIES
There are numerous wonderful beaches within easy reach and perhaps the one to single out is La Cinta beach in San Teodoro, which is a 10 minute drive from the villa and is quite safe for children.
Water sports and facilities are an important feature of this beautiful coastline and these include boat hire, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, water skiing and wind surfing. In addition to a Sports Centre, there are facilities for tennis, horse riding and golf nearby. The area is also popular with cyclists, hill walkers and ornithologists – red kites and eagles being regular visitors soaring above the villa. Should you decide to eat out, there are many restaurants within the locality and the local bar and pizzeria is 500m from the villa.
