Combine Rental Return with Capital Growth
Inevitably many purchases will result in an excellent and financially rewarding combination of rental return and capital growth. If a property is retained for renting, the optimum time to sell and reinvest may be about 3 years after completion.
Build a Portfolio
Buy 1 or 2 properties each year for, say, 5 years. By selling on at the most appropriate times and reinvesting in replacement and additional properties, the size of the portfolio will increase steadily.
Bulk Purchase
The wealthier investor should create an instant portfolio, buying from 3-10 or more properties together. This may produce a significant discount if most or all involve the same developer.
Syndicate Purchase
Take advantage of increased buying power by forming or joining a syndicate of serious investors.
Club Purchase
A financially sound sports or social club or other type of association may well find property investment abroad considerably more rewarding than a UK deposit account. Weeks can be retained as prizes for winners of competitions, special performance, etc..
Corporate Purchase
Overseas property is an ideal vehicle for company or corporate investment. From the portfolio, consider retaining one property for an employee reward holiday scheme.
Commercial Investment

The ultimate, most rewarding and interesting investment opportunity for the serious investor or syndicate. Become a shareholder in a development project and participate in the development profit. Different levels of entry and exit may be available, affecting both the eventual profit and the risk element.
